Passion

I have lately realized that my passions are not from my own desire to succeed, but rather it’s the desire for God to manifest himself through me…through my talents to make himself greater.  When I neglect God, I neglect my passion.  Something in me dies…slowly.  I love serving people, but when I’m in a state of “backburndem” with God I find it to be more of a chore.  When I neglect my time with God music seems to take the backseat and things that benefit myself become more important.

The moral of the story?

True passion arises from loving God and becoming more like Him.  The things that He has put in you will awaken when He is living through you.  Love God.  Find passion.  Live an abundant life.

Have you hugged someone today?  You should.
